Sir Syed was great reformer because he struggled hard to make the Muslims realize their lost identity. Otto von Bismarck (1 April 1815 – 30 July 1898), served the German nation from21 March 1871 to 20 March 1890 with the help of all government sources but Sir Syed did the same without the sources.
To Khalid Bin Sayeed, “Many tributes have been paid to Sir Sayyid, particularly by modern educated Muslims for being daring enough to put forward such views in an age which was by no means liberal or tolerant.” (Dr Khalid Bin Sayeed, Pakistan, the Formative Phase, p. 17).
