Two important 'Associations' introduced by Sir Syed

     Patriotic Association   

In 1888, he set up the Patriotic Association to meet the propaganda of the Congress. Muslims and Hindus joined the Association. It advocated the Muslims’ emotions.

Mohammedan Defense  Association

                  In December 1893, Sir Syed founded the Mohammedan Defense  Association. Its main purpose was to protect the political, religious and social rights of the Muslims.
